1. What services do you offer?
I provide tailored online tutoring for children following the National Curriculum for Primary Schools in England. This includes support for key assessments such as:
Year 1 Phonics Screening and Year 2 Resits
Key Stage 1 and 2 SATs
Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check
11+ Entrance Exams
I typically support children from Year 1 to Year 6, though I also cater to children working below their key stage, including Key Stage 3 students following a Key Stage 2 curriculum.
2. How are lessons conducted?
All sessions are held online via Microsoft Teams. In-person tutoring may be arranged on rare occasions by mutual agreement.
3. How do I book a session?
You can book sessions by contacting me through email, by phone or on social media (Facebook, Instagram, X), or by submitting the form on the ‘Contact’ page on my website.
4. What payment methods do you accept?
I accept payments via bank transfer or PayPal. You can pay per session or choose to purchase a block of 5 or more sessions at a discounted rate.
5 Do I (the guardian) need to be present at my child’s lessons?
You are not required to supervise your child during the session. All sessions are recorded for safeguarding purposes.
6. What happens if my child attends Langley Park Primary School?
Unfortunately, I cannot tutor any children from Langley Park Primary School due to my position as a class teacher there. If a conflict is found, the session will be cancelled and no future sessions will be scheduled.
7. What happens after a session?
After each session, I will provide a brief overview to the parent or guardian, highlighting the child’s strengths and areas for improvement.
8. Who provides the materials for the lessons?
I will provide all necessary materials, including workbooks, online games and custom-made content.
9. What are your qualifications?
I am a qualified primary school teacher in England, holding the following credentials:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
PGCE in Primary Education (specialised in ages 5-11)
TEFL Certification (obtained when teaching in Taipei, Taiwan)
BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science
